To conduct a 5s audit, the following steps should be taken:

1. Take or attach a photo of the workplace’s current status for reference.

2. Do a visual inspection of your workplace.

3. Go through the questionnaire per category (sort, set-in-order, shine, standardize, and sustain) and assign a score.

4. Tally the scores to see how well the workplace complies with the principles of 5s.

5. Create a conclusion and establish an action plan if needed.

How often should you do a 5S audit

A best practice would be to conduct a 5s audit on a monthly to quarterly basis. Performing regular audits can help the organization monitor its progress towards implementing the principles of 5s.

What is Radar Chart

A radar chart is a visual representation of how well an organization meets its goals. It’s a great tool to help you look at your organization from the inside out.

It is compared with the historical data to identify similar behavior patterns and improve the efficiency of audits. Radar Chart is an awesome tool to evaluate and analyze the last or current status of a project.

It gives an overview of the effort spent by each team member and shows deviations.

Thank you. Try to achieve maximum score in the audit check list.
