Click here for Time Study Sheet

  1. Fill initial details such as part number, item description, operation, section, shift, date, operator and time study analyst at the top of the time study sheet. (This will be helpful in future references)
  2. Split the operation to be studied into activities and enter the name of it in the activity/element column. Up to 10 activities can be entered in the time study sheet.
  3. Now measure the time taken for each activity and enter the time in minutes in the observation section in the time study sheet, against corresponding serial number of each element or activity. Up to 25 observations can be entered into time study sheet. No of observations can be decided by you. Its not compulsory to enter 25 observations. Please note that enter time in minutes. Do not enter 0 value alone in the cells, because it will affect average.
  4. Enter manning for each activity, in the top section of time study sheet.
  5. Enter rating for each element/activity. (eg: 100 or 120 or 90)
  6. Enter frequency for each element/activity. Here frequency means, no of products produced in one occurrence of an activity/element. For example, if an activity is done for 10 products frequency will be 1/10 =0.1. Enter 0.1 in the corresponding field. If an activity is done for 3 times for one product, frequency will be 3.
  7. Enter relaxation allowance for each activity/element.
  8. Enter other allowances (if applicable, leave empty if not applicable)
  9. Click ‘Calculate’ button.
  10. Then you can see the total standard time and total standard man minutes for the particular product, which is the out put of time study sheet.

  12. Please recheck the entered data.
  13. Click ‘Print time study sheet’ button, and you can print or save the time study sheet.
